Founded in 2011, Ember & Oak started as a 12-seat supper club in Leslieville. Today we operate a 6,000 sq ft commissary kitchen on Adelaide Street and cater over 200 events per year across the Greater Toronto Area.

What our clients ask before booking.

How far in advance should we book?
For weddings and large galas (150+ guests), we recommend 3–6 months. Corporate events and private parties can often be accommodated with 2–4 weeks notice, depending on the season. December and June book earliest.
Is there a minimum guest count?
Our minimum is 20 guests for plated service and 30 for buffet. For smaller dinner parties (8–19 guests), we offer our Private Chef Experience at a flat rate starting at $1,800.
Do you provide rentals and décor?
We supply all serviceware, linens, and glassware as part of our packages. For specialty items (charger plates, custom florals, specialty furniture), we work with our preferred rental partners and include them in your quote.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Absolutely. Every menu is designed with alternatives for gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, halal, kosher-style, and common allergens. We collect dietary information from your guest list and prepare labelled options accordingly.
What’s included in the price per guest?
All food, preparation, delivery, setup, service staff, serviceware, and cleanup. Bar packages are quoted separately unless you choose the Ember tier. HST (13%) is additional. Gratuity is discretionary.
Do you have liquor licensing?
Yes. Ember & Oak holds a valid AGCO Catering Licence. We can serve alcohol at any venue in Ontario. We provide Smart Serve-certified bartenders and handle all compliance requirements.
